Trebbiano d'Abruzzo DOC

Trebbiano Wine - Origins and characteristics

The Trebbiano grape has been grown in central Italy since Roman times.

The name originally refers to a local white wine produced on estates or farms for consumption by the winegrower’s family. Today there are many grape varieties bearing the name of Trebbiano, and although they are often accompanied by a geographical designation, it would be quite a difficult task to describe all the differences among them. Trebbiano d’Abruzzo is a local DOC white wine marked by a bouquet of floral, fruity notes. It has good body, lively acidity, persistent fruity notes, and a touch of almond in the finish.
